Upgrades now include an option to upgrade in a “Set Specific” pack type.
For example, if the card being upgraded is from the Matchday card set, you have the option to upgrade into a Matchday set pack specifically instead of a generic (all-sets) pack.
An update was released this morning that should fix the issue with packs potentially containing duplicate cards (the same card multiple time in a pack). This was a regression introduced with the new pack composition logic and not detected until recently.
We have removed the 2025 Season Leaders Card Set from current packs early. This set was originally scheduled to be sunset on March 1, 2026, but due to the fact that all Uncommon cards from this set have been fully distributed, we are sun-setting this Card Set a few days early, effective today Feb 25, 2026.
Rhode Island FC announced the departure of Mathieu Ndongo during the middle of the 2026 Club Collector Season Launch. Due to this unfortunate timing, Ndongo’s card was include in the Base Card set at launch.
His card has been removed from the Base Set.
The 2026 season of Club Collector has officially launched. Hop in and start collecting cards from the 2026 card sets featuring all new design for the Base and Matchday sets.
As noted in the 2026 Season Preview News, due to the later release (end of the USL regular season) of the Season Leaders Card Set, this set will be available in packs in the new season until March 1, 2026 to give collectors a bit of extra time at collecting cards from this set.
New Challenger game mode added to Matchday Competitions - requires a 4 card lineup with 1 card from each rarity (Common, Limited, Rare, Wicked Rare)
New Champion game mode rules for Matchday Competitions - No GK card required (Champion now has to spots for ANY position) but if a GK card is used, they receive an additional 10% bonus to their scoring (multiplicative to the card’s rarity bonus)
Look for new Card Sets to be released later this season - including a new card set only availble in packs during the World Cup schedule
Pack generation system has been updated and card rarity odds are now calculated per card not per pack (now it will be technically possible to get a “god pack” that includes more than 1 card from each rarity (e.g. a pack of all Wicked Rare cards is now technically possible, although extremely small)
Pack purchasing now has dynamic pricing per user based on how many packs of a specific rarity type are purchased each week. The more packs you purchase in a given week, the more they will cost per pack (with an upper limit). Each calendar week, the pricing will reset back to “normal” per owner and start again. This is to avoid owners with huge cap balances from loading up on packs cheaply at the start of the season and should help with the Wicked Rare distribution issues we had in the 2025 season.
With the end of the 2025 USL Championship Season, the “season” is also winding down here at Club Collector for 2025. Here is some information about the ending of this season and information about the upcoming 2026 season to help prepare.
When a Club Collector Season ends, any card sets from that season will be unavailable for collection in new packs. The past season card sets are archived, and only new or current season card sets will appear in card packs.
Don’t worry, you will not lose your collection of archived cards. Your cards belong to you, always and you will be able to view them in your collection at any time in the future. Any duplicate Common cards you have will be removed however, and only a single copy of common cards will be left in your collection. Duplicate copies of Uncommon cards will always remain in your collection.
There will be chances to still collect archived cards from past season however; archive packs, auctions, Matchday awards, and other upcoming features will still allow collection of out-of-season cards.
This is a change from last season, when up to 25 Basic Packs were able to be saved and carried forward into the new season. For 2026 any unopened Basic Packs in your collection will be automatically opened and added to your card collection on rollover day.
ALL Matchday, Uncommon, and Special Pack types (any non-Basic Pack) will also not be carried forward into the new season. Packs you earned and purchased during the 2025 Season will automatically open and be added to your collection on Rollover day. This also is a change from last season when certain Uncommon pack types where allowed to be carried forward.
The 2025 Club Collector Season is tentatively scheduled to end Friday February 13, 2026 with the new 2026 Club Collector Season staring Saturday, February 14, 2026. This will give collectors approximately one month to begin collecting new 2026 cards in preparation for Matchday 1 of the 2026 USL Championship Season. (These dates are subject to change.)
Due to the later release (end of the USL regular season) of the 2025 Season Leaders Card Set, this set will be available in packs in the new season until March 1, 2026 to give collectors a bit of extra time at collecting cards from this set.
Packs for the Season Leaders Card Set are now available for sale.
Version 0.28.0 was released this afternoon. The biggest update in this release is around pack generation logic.
The pack generation logic to determine card rarity is being reworked for next season, and this is the first step in that process. The odds of rarity per pack have not changed for the remainder of the 2025 season, but the way we try to build the cards in a pack for the rarity selected has changed. Currently, the v0.28.0 update only uses the new logic for “Basic Pack” pack types as a way to test the new system, before rolling it out to all pack types.
Also, now that the regular season has completed, for the remainder of the 2025 Club Collector season, Uncommon Matchday Card Set cards will once again appear in Basic packs as well.
Version 0.27 was released this afternoon. Mostly bug fixes and performance improvement updates.
The main new feature is the ability to purchase packs from “archived” card sets. This should allow set completionists to begin to fill out their collection of missing cards from the 2024 season. I’m still working out how to price these packs, but think the current starting price makes sense.
In the future, the ability to buy individual cards from archived sets will also be added.
Version 0.26 of Club Collector was released today that includes the first phase of some performance updates to address the recent issues with setting Matchday lineups. This release is the first of a two part update that should make noticeable improvements in performance and stability of the site, and will be followed up with a second update in the future to add some additional performance increases.
I apologize for the issues some owners have had setting lineups in the final hour leading up to Matchday the last few weeks, and hope these updates will alleviate those recent issues.
Due to the technical issues the Club Collector site had in the hour leading up to Rhode Island FC’s Jaegermeister group 4 match against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, uniform rewards have been distributed.
In an effort to remain fair, all Club Collector owners who entered at least a single lineup in any of the last 3 competitions (Jaegermeister match against Pittsburgh, USLC Matchday 10 against Pittsburgh, or USLC Matchday 9 against Tampa Bay) have had the followed rewards added to your accounts:
We apologize for the site issues this past weekend.
Due to the some server issues with Club Collector in the hour leading up to the Jaegermeister Cup match against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, the different matchday competitions have been nullified.
Many users were unable to either set their initial lineups, or modify their previous lineups after the official match lineups were released.
To maintain fairness across the competitions, every Club Collector owner who had set a matchday lineup in last week’s Matchday 10 match, or had set at least a single lineup in 3 of the prior 5 matchdays will receive the same rewards package containing a mix of packs and caps.
Sorry for the server issues leading up to the match kickoff and the frustration all around.
Minor update today included some performance improvements and also adding in Matchday cards to Wicked Rare packs. This is to alleviate some of the availability pressure due to the scarcity of remaining available Wicked Rare cards. In general, Matchday set cards are still only available in Matchday specific packs, now with one exception: Wicked Rare packs have the ability to include wicked rare cards from the Matchday set.
Version 0.24.0 of Club Collector was released today, and includes several bug fixes and updates.
One notable update is the temporary removal of Rare -> Wicked Rare pack upgrading as well as the removal of Wicked Rare packs from the list of purchasable packs.
The available pool of Wicked Rare cards is currently at a very low number of cards, and to prevent issues with Wicked Rare packs not being able to source available Wicked Rare cards, these items have been temporarily disabled and removed from access.
We will continue to monitor the Wicked Rare card pool and make updates again in the future when able.
