Jerome Williams Jr., known as JJ Williams, born on January 4, 1998, in Clovis, New Mexico, is an American professional soccer player who plays as a forward for Rhode Island FC in the USL Championship. He grew up in Montgomery, Alabama, and showcased his talent early on, scoring 122 goals in high school and playing for Alabama Christian Academy. Williams then advanced his soccer career at the University of Kentucky, where he was a standout player. In 2018, he was recognized as a first team all-American and the C-USA Men's Soccer Player of the Year.

Williams' professional journey began when he signed a Generation Adidas contract with Major League Soccer and was selected in the first round by Columbus Crew in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft. He spent most of his rookie year on loan to Birmingham Legion before being waived by the Crew ahead of the 2020 season. Williams then joined Atlanta United and had loan spells with Atlanta United 2 and Birmingham Legion. His career has also included stints with FC Tulsa, Phoenix Rising, and Tampa Bay Rowdies, before joining Rhode Island FC.
