A native Rhode Islander who hails from East Providence, Nate Silveira joined Rhode Island FC in January 2024 after spending time at Crown Legacy FC in MLS Next Pro league. Silveira played collegiately for the University of Vermont where he earned back-to-back America East Goalkeeper of the Year honors and also spent time in USL League Two where he was captain of Vermont Green FC.
