Ghanaian Midfielder Kofi Twumasi began his professional career in 2014 in Romania where he spent his first four professinoal seasons split between the countries first and second division football leagues. In 2019 he transferred to the German regional leagues where he spent the following two seasons appearing in 30 matches before signing with MLS Next PRO side Atlanta United 2 for the 2023 campaign. WIth Atlanta, Kofi appeared in 27 matches and scored 1 goal. In January 2024, Twumasi signed with Rhode Island FC to help strengthen the club's midfield for their inaugur 2024 USL Championship season.
