In the 63rd minute of Matchday 1, Conor McGlynn became the first substitute in Rhode Island FC history when he entered the game replacing Joe Brito. McGlynn put in a strong shift completing nearly 75% of his passes including 5 into the final third as he helped change the pace of the game and ultimately help RIFC secure the tie in extra time and score the first point in club history.
