Not settling for scoring the first player goal in RIFC history, Albert Dikwa upped the ante and also scored the first brace in RIFC club history during Matchday 2 against Monterey Bay FC. Dikwa's goals in the 41st and 63rd minute both put Rhode Island FC into the lead in a game which ultimately ended in a 2-2 draw and a point on the road.
