While Matchday 14 was not kind overall to Rhode Island FC, Clay Holstad once again put on the workhorse performance for the club that he has come to be known for. Despite having 64% ball possession on the night, RIFC managed to drop another match at home, this time 0-2 to Sacramento Republic FC. Holstad played the full 90 minutes, completing 47 passes on the night and winning 9 of 11 total duels.
