On June 14, 2025 Rhode Island FC took home the first victory at their new home, Centreville Bank Stadium. RIFC took the lead in the first half on an Albert Dikwa header, but went into halftime with the game tied at 1. The game remained knotted for the full 45 minutes of the 2nd half, until Frank Nodarse earned a penalty kick which Maxi Rodriguez converted giving RIFC the 2-1 lead and ultimate first home victory.
