A native of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Jojea Kwizera played his collegiate soccer in Utah before embarking on his professional career in 2021 with USL League Two club Ogden City. Kwizera joined MLS side CF Montéal for the 2022 season where he made 12 appearances for the club over two years. In January 2024, Kwizera officially joined Rhode Island FC for their 2024 innagural USL Championship campaign.
