A dual-citizen of both the United States and Australia, Jackson Lee played two seasons at George Mason University before transferring to West Virginia University where he was the teams starter for his Junior and Senior seasons. In 2023, Lee played every minute in goal for the WVU Mountaineers where he set a WVU record for most goalkeeper wins with nine shutouts. Lee was drafted 28th overall in the 2024 MLS SuperDraft by LAFC but was already signed a contract with Rhode Island FC for the 2024 season giving RIFC is rights for their inagural USLC campaign.
